RETS runs its strata licence course in a distance/correspondence mode - self paced - you are emailed your workbooks and assessments. Whilst you are working through your units you will have access to a tutor 7 days a week. If you apply for RPL RETS will organise an assessor to contact you to assist you in completing your RPL assessment. Any units you need to complete will be sent to you to complete. You will be designated a tutor, so if at any time you encounter difficulties you can access help and advise.

Students completing the Strata License units of competency will be given 12 months to complete this course. If a student goes over this timeframe they may need to extend their enrolment and additional payment may be required. This will be assessed on a case by case basis. 

If you do not attempt to complete at least 2 units per month you will fall behind quickly. Your trainer/assessor will be in contact with you to check you progress throughout the 12 months.

$2500 - including the RPL asessment and any other units that may need to be completed. Payment is made as follows: 

• 1st payment of $835 - this payment covers the RPL assessment and access to a tutor to assist you in compiling your RPL assessment. You will be invoiced this amount after your enrolment. Your course will commence after this payment has been received
  
• 2nd payment of $835 - this payment covers any skills gap units to complete. You are invoiced this amount half way through your units (9 units) or at the 6 month point (6 months after commencement)
  
• 3rd payment of $830 - this payment needs to be made prior to issuance of your certificate. You will be invoiced this prior to completion of your course or at the 12 month point).
  

Please note - the cost of the course is $2500. You will be invoiced the entire amount over the 12 months. RETS has provided this payment plan to assist you in making your payment. Please contact us if you wish to discuss an alternate payment plan for the entire course or alternatively units can be purchased for $195 each. When enrolling you agree to the above payment terms.

You will have assessments to complete throughout the course. Your assessment booklets contain your assessments and instructions for completion. These are marked by your assessor using competency based assessment – that is you are either competent or not competent. You will need to post your assessments in as each unit is completed. You will receive feedback on your assessments as they are marked.

Upon commencement of the course you will receive a Student Assessment Information Booklet which explains assessment in more detail. If you would like a copy of this Booklet prior to enrolment please contact our office and we will email one through.

There is a maximum 7 to 10 day turn around for all marking.

Upon enrolment you will be designated a tutor who can help and assist you with any problems or questions you may have. Your tutor is available by email – weekdays 9am to 6pm and weekends 11am to 3pm.

Upon succcessful completion of the entire course you will receive a CPP40516 Certificate IV in Strata Community Management
