A Class 2 (and until 2021, Class 1) licence holder must obtain 6 hours of CPD annually in a Licence renewal year. RETS is approved, by NSW Fair Trading, to deliver compulsory CPD.

CPD Compulsory Topic 1 - Real Estate Reforms 2020 - 1 hour
CPD Compulsory Topic 2 - Rules of Conduct - 1 hour
CPD Compulsory Topic 3 - Risk Management - 1 hour
3 hour Elective CPD
CPD Elective Topic - Pitfalls and Challenges for a Commerical Agent- 3 hours
NSW Fair Trading mandate that all CPD must be completed by 22nd March 2021. To fulfill this requirement it is up to you to successfully complete by this date. RETS suggested you complete prior to this date in case you need to resubmit or redo any aspect of the assessment. Until 2021 Class 1 agents must also completed 6 hours of CPD - after this they must complete 9 hours CPD. )
Remember - it is your responsibility to understand your requirements for CPD.

How can you complete the course?
RETS runs this course as follows:
Via PDF - correspondence - we will email you the Leaners Guides, Assessment and any resources you may require to complete this course. You will have access to a RETS tutor during business hours who can help and assist as required.
