CPD for 2025/2026

All  Class 1 Short Term Letting Agents must complete 4 hours of interactive CPD, face to face or via a live webinar AND a minimum of five hours attending a NSW Fair Trading- accredited event. To find out more about these events go to NSWFT.  

RETS is an approved NSWFT provider of CPD.  

IMPORTANT NOTE:  if you are participating in an interactive webinar course, it is a requirement of NSW Fair Trading that your camera is on throughout the entire session. When enrolling in these webinars you  agree to have your camera on and to participate. If your camera is not turned on the entire session the trainer may deem you as not having participated and you may not receive a completion certificate - there would be no refund in this case.

Please note: as per NSW Fair Trading requirements interactive webinar class sizes are limited to 25 participants - students are required to attend the full sessions.

As per NSW Fair Trading requirements the 4 hour CPD sessions will cover the following

• Mitigating risk and managing psychosocial hazards in the workplace
• Regulatory framework including NSW Fair Trading Code of Conduct for Short-term Rental Accommodation Industry
• Regulatory change in strata 2025.

PLUS

All Class 1 agents are also required to spend a minimum of five hours attending a NSW Fair Trading- accredited event. To find out more about these events go to NSWFT.

Each individual topic  includes interactive learning activities and assessment. As per NSW Fair Trading requirements All Class 1 Short Term Letting Agents must complete all of the above compulsory topics.
