SCCVC CPP30211 Certificate III in Property Services (Agency)

SCCVC in partnership with Real Estate Training Solutions P/L (RETS) deliver the CPP30211 Certificate III in Property Services (Agency). This course is delivered face to face to SCCVC students on-site at the premises of SCCVC, by RETS trainers and assessors using RETS training and assessment tools.

This qualification covers the skills and knowledge required for an entry level real estate sales or property management support person.

This course includes the units required by NSW Fair Trading to apply for a Certificate of Registration to sell or lease property in NSW, whilst working for a licenced agent.

CPP30211 Certificate III in Property Services (Agency)

To achieve recognition at Certificate III, the student must demonstrate competency in all 5 specified core units and 9 of elective units (total of 14 units).

CPPDSM3010B    Meet customer needs and expectations in the property industry

CPPDSM3015B    Use and maintain property and client information databases

CPPDSM3018B    Identify risks to agency operations

How long will it take?

This course is conducted weekly through the school term for 4 hours per week, over a 2 year (7 term) period. Students will also be required to complete assessments at home.

Work placement is also a crucial requirement to achieve competency in this course and students will complete this as part of their workplacement schedules through the school year.

How am I assessed?

RETS provides all the training and assessment for this course. This course is competency based and the student’s performance is recognised against a prescribed industry standard.

Strategies include:

  • Observation
  • Student demonstration
  • Questioning (Case Studies, Completion of Property Forms)
  • Written tasks

Students are given a number of opportunities to demonstrate competence across the range of competency standards covered by this course.

The students assessment booklets contain all of the assessments and instructions for completion. These are marked by the assessor using competency based assessment – that is you are either competent or not competent. Students can speak to their class teahcer about this or contact RETS or SCCVC for further infromation.

What do I get when I finish?
