Have the CPD requirements changed for 2019?

In 2018 there was much conversation regarding changes to Continued Professional Development (CPD) requirements for NSW Real Estate Agents.

Although reporting on this topic has reduced within the real estate media; as a training organisation we are keeping abreast of what is going on.

Domestic Violence and Residential Tenancies update

The law is changing. New domestic violence provisions in the Residential Tenancies Act 2010 commence on February 28 2019. Tenants who are proven survivors of domestic violence will be able to end their tenancy early without compensation. Other important rules apply that impact on co-tenants. You will also need to tread very carefully with privacy provisions and how you provide references for these tenants.
