Real estate agents' books to be checked

The New South Wales Fair Work Ombudsman will audit the books of some 350 real estate agents in NSW for fear of incorrect staff payments.

120 Sydney based agents and 230 regional agents will be audited by Fair Work in NSW over the coming 2 months. As part of the check auditors will be ensuring that commision only agents are being paid the appropriate amount, as well as confirming that admin and reception staff are being paid all appropriate entitlements.
